A Mandi Bahauddin diagnostic centre built on one simple idea: a patient should be able to get an accurate answer close to home, at a fair price, on the same day.
For years, families in Mandi Bahauddin district faced the same problem. A doctor would advise an ultrasound or a set of blood tests, and the nearest place anyone really trusted was in Gujrat, Jhelum or Lahore — hours away, expensive, and impossible for an elderly parent or a woman in late pregnancy.
City Diagnostic & Medical Center was established to close that gap. We brought 4D colour Doppler ultrasound, digital radiography, ECG, echocardiography and a full clinical pathology laboratory together under one roof on Near Broadway Pizza, Phalia Road, and we kept the doors open fourteen hours a day, seven days a week.
Led by a doctor, not by a machine
Every ultrasound performed here is done and reported personally by Dr. Khawar Farooq Sandhu — MBBS, consultant sonologist and physician, formerly of the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi. That matters more than most patients realise. An ultrasound is a live examination: the findings depend on who is holding the probe, what they choose to look at, and whether they connect it to your history. We do not hand that job to a technician and sign the report afterwards.
The laboratory runs under the same principle. Internal quality control samples are run every morning before a single patient sample is processed, abnormal or unexpected results are repeated before release, and a critically abnormal value — a dangerously low platelet count, a very high potassium — is telephoned to the patient and the referring doctor immediately rather than waiting for someone to collect a printout.
Our commitment: if a test will not change your treatment, we will tell you so. We would rather lose the fee than add a line to your bill that does nothing for your health.

- Digital X-ray — chest, spine, skull, PNS, abdomen and all limb views, at a lower radiation dose than conventional film.
- Cardiac testing — 12-lead ECG and colour Doppler echocardiography, including pre-operative clearance.
- Clinical laboratory — over 200 tests across haematology, biochemistry, endocrinology, serology, microbiology and clinical pathology.
- Free home sample collection inside Mandi Bahauddin city, and by arrangement in the surrounding towns.

Who we serve
Patients come to us from Mandi Bahauddin city, Phalia, Malakwal, Qadirabad, Miana Gondal, Chillianwala, Head Rasul, Pahrianwali and dozens of surrounding villages. - Barcoded sample labelling at the point of collection, so a sample cannot be swapped.
