Information we hold
To perform a test we record your name, age, sex, contact number, address where home collection is requested, the referring doctor's name, and the results of the tests we carry out. We do not collect any information that is not needed for your care and your invoice.
How your results are used
Results are used to prepare your report and to compare with your previous results. They are released to you, to a person you nominate, or to the doctor who referred you. They are not shared with any other person or organisation except where the law requires it, such as notifiable disease reporting to the health authorities.
Sensitive tests
Hepatitis, HIV, fertility and pregnancy-related results are handled with additional care. They are handed over in a sealed envelope and are not discussed with family members or attendants without your permission.
WhatsApp and online reports
If you ask us to send your report on WhatsApp, it is sent to the number you provide and is then subject to WhatsApp's own security. Our online report portal requires the reference number on your receipt together with your registered mobile number.
This website
This website does not run advertising trackers. Contact and booking requests made through the website open WhatsApp on your own device — the message is sent by you, from your own account, and nothing is stored on this website. If website analytics are enabled, they record anonymous page visits only.
Retention
Records are retained so that future tests can be compared with earlier ones, as is standard practice in laboratory medicine. You may request a copy of your own records at any time.
